Volunteers
Volunteering in the field of social services (volunteering) is a voluntary non-profit activity of individuals - volunteers, which aims to help people in difficult life circumstances and need outside help, and promotes self-realization of the volunteer. Volunteering is based on the following basic principles:
- Voluntariness and charity;
- Legality;
- Humanity and dignity;
- Common interests and equality of rights of its participants;
–Publicity;
- Responsibility;
- Confidentiality.
Volunteering is carried out by individuals - volunteers who may be members of volunteer organizations (associations) - public or religious organizations that operate in accordance with their statutes (regulations).
